TEACHING IN SIERRA LEONE BY Lynn Rosen

 Teaching in New York has always being a Joy for me
To me iyt is a love of heart.Irecently have an experience, which brings such joy to me.
 Here my story:


On july 12  2010 Lynn's kids opened its doors for the unprevelege children
of Sierra Leone. This was a wounderful joint venture.Alusine Kamara have a dream to
enrich the lives of poor children and to make them feel good about themselves.
I wanted to help him and i tought Grammer,Poetry and Global hunger from New York
while other volunteer thought the kids in Sierra Leone.It warmed my heart to hear the voices of the kids
and especially they laughter.What a joyful experience it was

My favorite memory was teaching verbs.They were Jumping, dancing, laughing singingand many other actions. Poetry was felt i belive poetry express what the heart feels.
Iintroduce acrostic,haikuand just rhyming. it was fabilious.

Global hunger hunger has made me activistand i wrote severals poem to show them that they are not alone.I also give them ideas to help their countres.They will start  work on this when the weather is better


this Poem will describe how i feel when i teach the children of Sierra Leone
 Children so eager,eager to learn
warmth and love and energy to burn
I from New York was eble to impart
teaching strength from my heart
Hearing the exictment from their voices so clear
Made me happy that i decided to share
my lesson plan with special volunteers
To me the were all very dear
So when you have the chance one day
Walk towards the oppourtunity and don't turn away
Show you love your commitment and the caring
Creat a better world one in which we are sharing

So Alusine had a dfream and lynn was a part
thanks to every one from the bottom of my heart.
